Ready to feel ready?

...or is it wiser to improve a bit more before applying for that job?
… to lose a bit more weight before you actually go ahead and have a relationship?
... to practice a bit more before you actually dare your next so much wanted move in your career?
Well you know what they say. There are times when happiness lies in the expectation of it!
But what about the other cases where frustration and hardship go along with the postponement of the next step? How much time can you afford to lose by waiting?

Let’s see it from another perspective.

What would you say to a baby that would not utter a single word before making sure it can use the language accurately???
What would you say to those that wouldn’t get in the water until they felt they mastered the skill of swimming beforehand?

Improvement is a life long process. Can you tell when you have reached the point where you are not as ready as you would wish, but you are ready enough?

Fear is only natural. A sign that you are progressing beyond your comfort zone. Accept it, make an educated risk analysis of the situation and make that first baby step. Don’t worry if you linger a bit. It may be the beginning of a wonderful walk…

Happiness you do.

Happiness is a skill. One can learn how to feel it in the same way one learns the other skills in life.
Driving, which is a skill too, takes both our conscious and subconscious mind to do well. Same applies with Happiness.

Also once someone knows how to do it well he cannot go back and forget it. The body and the mind will have the Know-how.Same applies to Happiness.
Driving needs work to improve. Same applies with Happiness.
In the ability to drive, riches have little if any importance. Same applies to Happiness.

Happiness is a skill.... It has little if any to do with luck. One can learn HOW to do it. And once he learns he will never forget. It is a condition that stems internally from our interpretation of the world and shows to the outside world. Not vice versa. The sooner one realizes that happiness is a skill that all it takes is certain work done… the sooner happiness will settle in.

Ten truths about your money you cannot ignore!

1. No matter how much you earn you will always want to spend more.

2. Your credit card will make you feel richer in the short-term. But if not used properly it will eventually make you poorer. Leave it at home and plan beforehand the purchases you will do with it.

3.In money management learning is a life-long process. Read, ask, learn...Never be afraid to take an expert's advice.

4. No matter how cheap something may be, if you don't need it it is simply too expensive!

5. Be thoroughly informed about your finances. Keep a record of your expenses, even the small every-day ones. Make educated decisions on how to manage your income after taking into account this information.

6. Limits are good. Make a list of the things you want to buy. Leave space for that extra something every now and then. Reaserch has shown that 30% of super market buying is based on impulse buying. How much does that cost on your budget?

7. Let's face it. Dealing with your debt will never be pleasant. The sooner you deal with it the less it will cost you. Pen and paper here are necessary if you want to have a clear view. An expert's advice may also make a  much bigger difference than you think.

8. You may have heard it many times. It is because it is true. Money cannot buy happiness. Trying to increase your income is not a bad thing, but waiting to feel happy till you actually do so, is. Work on the other things that offer you fullfilment, joy and peace from today.

9. You may worry about your money. But unless you keep a clear mind you will never be able to deal with it
succesfully. Alternativelly you could stop worrying and make an appointment with yourself to deal with it at a certain time and for a certain duration, say thirty minutes or more per day if needed in the beginning. Set the alarm.  After time is up, go back to the other important parts of your life till your next set date.

10. Money can buy a lot. A lot of distraction that is. But it is how you feel when you are alone with yourself that trully defines how rich your life is.
